Dear valued Salon Cardon clients,
As we prepare to reopen, we wanted to reach out and let you know what we will be doing to ensure safety for our clients and our staff. We will be implementing many new safety and sanitation initiatives, and wanted to inform you of the most important ones.
Greeting: We have missed having you in our salon and can’t wait to greet each and everyone of you as you come through the door. However, we will refrain from handshakes and hugs at this time.
Temperature Taking: We will take your temperature with a non-contact thermometer upon entry to the salon. Before walking back to the work area, we will also ask each client a few questions about their current health.
Social Distancing: In order to reduce the number of people in our salon by 50%, we will be working in shifts and keeping the salon open 7 days a week. This will allow us to maintain empty stations and ensure we are able to keep a safe distance. At this time we ask that you not bring any extra guests or children with you to your appointment.
What to do when you get to the salon:
- We ask that you arrive at the time of your appointment.
- Please call the salon from your car to make sure your stylist is ready for you.
- Limit the belongings you bring into the salon to your phone and form of payment.
Masks: Salon Cardon’s team and clients will be asked to wear a mask. For ease of styling and safety we ask that you wear a mask that secures behind your ears.
Smocks and Capes: Clients receiving a color treatment will be handed a clean smock and a plastic bag upon arrival. Please place your top in the plastic bag. If you opt not to wear a smock, please make sure you wear a shirt you don’t mind getting color on. Each client will receive a new cape to reduce the spread of germs. .
Blow Drying: At this time we will be limiting blow drying to weekly clients only. This will reduce the forced airflow that can increase the spread of germs.
Refreshments: Beverages and snacks will not be offered in the salon at this time.
Please know how important you are to us. These changes are only temporary and are put in place to ensure the safety of our clients. We appreciate your support and compassion as we all adjust to our new normal.
We hope to see you soon,
